Every week I am more and more amazed by this amazing summer in the Peace Country.

Not everyone is so lucky to live a life they love let alone the best life they could imagine for themselves in Northern Alberta.

As the 97 days of summer approaches the final month of summer fun – I have to once again thank everyone from all over the Peace Country. Not only our ROCK Wrangler sponsors; Peace River Ford, McDonald’s Grande Prairie, Mammoet, Tommy Gun’s Original Barbershop, Wapiti Road Shell and Great Canadian Oil Change who have brought so many smiles to the events I’ve attended but also to YOU. There hasn’t been a day all Summer that I haven’t hopped out of bed in the morning looking forward to who I might meet, dance, race, yogi, and/or laugh with. A shout out to the team at SOS Graphics who did absolutely breath taking work on the decals as well. It has been so fun to drive around this sexy piece of work!!

Needless to say the 97 days of Summer, ROCK Wrangler has been an absolute success! WE LOVE YOU PEACE COUNTRY.

This past weekend I had the honours of not only attending as a spectator to the Alberta Summer Games but also as a Volunteer and Media Sponsor. Proud parents were all around to share stories of their children’s athletic career, goals for the future and to save my face from being smashed by sports balls all around. No, I am not joking. One Dad hand bombed a Volleyball headed straight at me while I was posting to social media (DANGEROUS BUSINESS FOLKS) and victoriously topped off the save with ” At least you’re in radio. “…..It’s okay to laugh at that one… I definitely did too.

Not only did Grande Prairie have the honours of hosting the Alberta Summer Games but, also the 18th Annual Street Performers Festival. The Street Performers Festival is undeniably a Grande Prairie favourite. Despite the weather – nothing was keeping you folks away. The acts were funny, fascinating and all around entertainment for the whole family. Although the event is FREE – the performers definitely deserved  every dollar you as an audience gave.

If all of that wasn’t enough to tire us out.. we wrapped up the weekend with a Monster Truck named Jurassic Attack ripping around Industrial Park in Support of Tiny Hands of Hope .

Now, the info you’ve all been waiting for. What is the Summer Cruiser, ROCK Wrangler up to this week?
