San Francisco is fighting back against pee’ers. Public urination can become a problem in big cities, and the bay area is attempting to give culprits a taste of their own… medicine?

They are using a pee repellent paint… designed originally for vehicles as a splash guard paint. The repellent, which goes by the name Ultra Ever Dry was also tested in Germany.

San Fran city officials that since adding an extra bathroom near Broad St., calls to the city to steam-clean the walls have decreased. It cost just a few hundred dollars to spray the areas, which saves cleanup money in the long run, and conserves precious water resources in drought-stricken California.
